Green Project Marketing works with clients to determine if a cause or non-profit organization should be included into a given project. A cause may be tied into the building industry, green or green building industry or may be a cause that is important to one of the principals of a project.

GPM has been part of programs that have supported causes such as Habitat for Humanity and Festival of Children Foundation.

10.9.10 Santa Barbara Habitat Event SignA couple of examples of cause-related projects were a special event called, “green bike ride” was created to raise funds for a worthy cause. Another one was a Tour of Green Homes, where the client’s project was selected as one of the special homes to be toured by hundreds of people.

Approved organizations, such as AIA and USGBC, have had the opportunity to host a special event at GPM project sites. The reciprocal benefit is that attendees, whether from the trades or general public, will support an organization, learn about green building and the specific project. They will meet stakeholders, sponsors, dignitaries and support staff of the project which may in turn drive inquiries for new business. It also shows a corporate and or social responsibility on the part of the client.

GPM and its team possess over 20 years of experience in working with causes and can support from an event, sponsorship, public relations and operations standpoint.
